No pictures leave the house except in the case of an alert. In this case, only the image that triggered the alert and the 30-second video that precedes it are sent and stored for 15 days.
When an alert is generated, the alert information (sensor identification, alert date, display date and intervention date and associated image) are stored. None of this data is stored longer than 15 days. During this period, they are protected and encrypted and therefore only accessible to authorized personnel. These data are not considered health data. The Tele-Assist may give access to these data in case of request by the person concerned.
Since the VA2CS system is interoperable with the majority of patient call systems on the market, the staff can receive alerts on their DECT terminal, only the no-image alert is received. If the staff is equipped with a smartphone with the VA2CS application, they will receive the alert with the associated image. At all time, all alerts can be gotten from a computer in the nurses’ room. It is possible to broadcast the alerts to certain staff, according to criteria, for example: 1st floor alerts for the staff responsible.
The alert is triggered after an immobility check of the person. The duration of this check is configurable, usually between 30 and 90 seconds.
A video of 30 seconds before the alert was triggered is available to staff with the right to view it.
The system makes it possible to visualize the number of falls occurring in a given period, the display and intervention time. If the actimetry option is activated, it is possible to visualise the rise from bed, bathroom stay time, wheelchair restraint time.
Yes, simply disconnect, move and reconnect the sensor to the VA2CS server (Wifi or local network) and modify the sensor / room identification via the management interface.
